Dylan Harper - Red Bull

I recently had the chance to spend some time in San Antonio photographing Dylan Harper for Red Bull.

Dylan is one of those athletes who makes it pretty easy to create interesting images. He has a lot of personality and presence, and once we got going, we were able to experiment with a few different looks and approaches to the shoot.

The goal was to create something that felt energetic and authentic while still fitting the Red Bull aesthetic. We kept the setup relatively simple and focused on getting strong portraits that felt like Dylan rather than overly staged sports photos.

One of my favorite parts of photographing athletes is finding those moments in between the more traditional portraits—the expressions, movement, and small details that give the images a little more personality. This shoot gave us plenty of opportunities to do that.

It was a great project and a lot of fun working with Dylan and the Red Bull team in San Antonio.
