2021 Dallas Stars from section 108

To start off, I have to say how grateful I am to be working this season after not being able to document the Stars historic run in the bubble. I love that the game is back in our home barns, and I love that the Stars were able to play in front of fans for the entire season.

For many reasons, this season was by far the most frustrating season I have photographed since starting with the team in the 2015-16 season. This season we didn’t get to do a media day, which is always one of my favorite photo shoots each year, no calendar for the fans, and most frustrating for me was not being able to document the moments away from the action. Dont get me wrong, I am all about keeping the players safe and healthy, however photographing the action during the games has always been secondary to capturing the moments the fans don’t get to see. I’m sure the team didn’t miss my camera in their face all season, but man I missed getting on their nerves. hah. This season I was assigned a single shooting position that I wasn’t allowed to leave.

Here is the 2021 season captured from a single position in section 108 all season, plus a few remote cameras…
